Okay, I have no new pictures to add, but I have to post this little story...
We have a routine at bedtime. Drew and I both take Gracie to her room. I get my hugs and kisses first while Drew checks to make sure the windows are locked. Then, Gracie goes to Drew for his hugs and our bedtime prayer. Gracie always says, "Amen" for us. Once both of us have hugged and kissed her, one of us lays her in her crib. She lays on her pillow, surrounded by all of her stuffed animals, gets covered in one of her blankets, and snuggles in. Drew and I both lean over and give her last kisses. We tell her that we love her and then say, "Night, night!" Gracie always responds with, "I wud oo. Night, night." Tonight, however, she looked up and said, "I wud oo, Daddy. I wud oo, Mama." Wow. That's all I can say. She's said it many times, but never with our names attached. Who knew something so simple could feel so incredible?
Isn't that an incredible feeling? So sweet, it melts your heart.
