This will be a short post, told through pictures and captions. =) These are just some recent pictures of Gracie that I thought were worth sharing. Hope you're having a great summer!
Memaw and Papa bought Gracie a little pool. We fill it up every few days for Gracie. She loves it! Daddy even taught her how to blow bubbles. She's also learned that she should hold her breath when she falls under. =)
Her ladybug ball is her favorite pool toy. Her dad and Papa are very proud that Gracie seems to have a good arm. She can throw far!
My little ham posing in her bathing suit. She loves to say, "Cheeeeeese!" when she poses.
This was right before Gracie's first time in her pool. Cassie seems to think that the pool is there solely for her to quench her thirst. Gracie doesn't appreciate it when Cassie tries to drink out of her pool. This is a shot of Gracie grabbing Cassie's head and pulling it away from the water.
Here is a very blurry shot of Gracie and her Memaw. This was on July 4th. My mom has her legs propped up to keep comfortable while recovering from knee replacement surgery.
My parents' friend, Dave, bought Gracie some sidewalk chalk. Gracie loved being able to draw all over Dave's patio. She decided to share her chalk with her Papa. Can you read the words? It says, "Beer/Papa." What is he trying to teach my daughter? =)
Gracie's drawings consisted mostly of lines and scribbles. Hey, at least she was having fun!
To beat the heat, Gracie can often be found in her "white trash" outfit - a diaper and nothing else! On this day she decided that she wanted an apple for a snack. She now likes to tackle whole apples. She actually eats an impressive amount off each one before she gives up.
Occasionally, Gracie will let me put her hair in a "pony." I think she looks so sweet with her hair pulled out of her face, but she is not a fan of sitting still so I can do it. Therefore, pony days are rare. I love this shot of her. Her face just looks so innocent and pure. What did we do to be blessed with such an amazing child?!?
She is absolutely an amazing child!! I love all the pictures but definitely adore the last one!!
